I find that repetition in architecture facilitates daydreaming much like a mandala facilitates meditation. Although meditation is a deliberate act, while daydreaming tends to be accidental, both allow you to take a break from the noise of the world in order to free your mind and ultimately refocus. I have recently begun to record what happens when my mind wanders while looking at the world around me. The images on this page represent the beginning of my "Daydream Dwellings" project.
